Carl Bayley, BSc ACA. Carl is our Senior consultant and the author of some of our most popular capital gains tax guides. A regular seminar speaker, he was recently invited to talk to hundreds of visitors at the 2004 Evening Standard Homebuyer Show. Carl is also a regular contributor to TV and radio programmes such as the BBC's It's Your Money programme and newspaper articles on capital gains tax matters. He was recently appointed to the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

David Collier CA ATII. David is tax partner at Chiene & Tait, one of Scotland's best known firms of chartered accountants.

Lee Hadnum LLB ACA CTA. Lee is a rarity among tax advisers having both legal and chartered accountant qualifications. He is author of a number of our tax guides and a key contributor to our popular Question & Answer Service.

Nick Braun, BCom, MSc, PhD. Nick founded Taxcafe UK and is the managing Director. He has 15 years experience as a tax writer and editor. He also has a PhD in economics.

Aileen Smith, MA PhD. Aileen founded Taxcafe.co.uk with Nick in 1999. She obtained a PhD art history from the University of Aberdeen and following a career in art consultancy completed a PgDip in Multimedia
